Kelly Brown has been serving families for a decade. A certified birth and postpartum doula Kelly brings with her the wisdom and experience of her own births as well as the journeys of the clients she has served as they welcome their babies into their arms. Kelly is also a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator .
Birth Doula Services
​As birth doulas we work with clients throughout pregnancy to help them prepare for their best birth. Clients hire us at 8 weeks or 38 weeks! Our basic package includes 1-3 prenatal meetings depending on when you hire us, support via phone, text or email from hire throughout the first few weeks postpartum, attending the birth, and one in-home postpartum visit.
Postpartum Services
Do you have a plan for when you arrive home with baby? A postpartum doula can help you make your postpartum experience a time of thriving, not just surviving. Depending on the number of hours you hire us we generally take on postpartum clients individually. For large contracts we may split the time we are working with you.
Postpartum care looks different for each family. Within our scope of practice we will:
assist with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping
batch cook meals and make sure mom has had a high nutrition meal while we are there
light housework such as laundry and dishes
answer questions pertaining to mom and baby - everything from sleep, newborn care, caring for your body post delivery and more
allow the birthing person and/or partner time to rest
